The front rim is 2.5mm deep and designed to provide adequate strength and accommodate the thickness of prescription lenses. The side of the rim is decorated with extremely thin, hairline stripes, making scratches less noticeable. The temples, made from BS titanium, are a new part of this collection, with a shape that surrounds the outer circumference of the barrel at the joint to increase the strength around the hinge. The end of the grippy temple tip, made from plastics and silicone, is fitted with a tungsten end tip, which in Swedish means "heavy stone" and has a very high specific gravity, reducing the weight on the front and bridge of the nose. The ideal product is pursued, that is both lightweight and durable.
