The front is made of a single piece of sheet metal with 1.4 mm-thick titanium end pieces soldered onto it to meet structural strength requirements. The outset-style beta-titanium temples provide both a comfortable fit and the rigidity needed to maintain the frame’s form over time. The temple ends, which have a good grip and are molded from CP and silicone, are combined with end tips made of tungsten, which means heavy stone in Swedish and has a very high specific gravity, to reduce the weight on the front and bridge of the nose. We pursued the ideal product that is comfortable to wear, lightweight, and durable.
